The ILC Hardwire Dimmer Photo Sensor is designed to sense the foot candles of light in an interior or exterior location, then output digital and analog signals. There are eight (8) digital open collector outputs that can be connected to the inputs of one of our controllers (or other equipment that accepts a digital closure) to turn loads ON or OFF. The digital outputs operate based on the analog output and when there is no light, all the outputs are off (open). As the light level increases the eight outputs are turned on (closed) at even intervals. The analog output can control dimmable ballasts or other devices that have 0-10VDC control and digitally steps 256 times between 0 and 10VDC.
